The new airport is in Centre, AL and it is 5,500 feet long. Small planes up to corporate jets will be able to land. In 2008, they will be building the FBO building on site. http://www.airnav.com/airport/C22

New Education to be Available at New Gadsden State Campus The 85,000 sq.ft. Complex in Centre will include academic classrooms, a nursing school, a workforce education center and an arena. In addition, there will be space for the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce and for an economic development representative who will work to bring new industry to the Cherokee County area.
